OBITUARYThe following is taken from the j Washington Citizen, of Washington, Missouri, and refers to the father of E. F. Thee of thi3 vicinity. Mr. Thee was called back to Missoui, recently by the death of his father. This obituary was published in the issue 01 March 7th: ILouis Christian Thee died early ^Vednesday morning at his home east '.of the city limits. Mr. Thee had beenK about a week.peceased was born on Feb. 15, 40, at Smith Creek, Warren county, and attained the age of 78 years and 20 days. Many years ago he^yed to Morrison, Mo., where he ^engaged in farming, banking, and. merchandising. The last few years before he came to Franklin County with his family he had charge of the elevator in Morrison.In the year 1905 Mr. Thee bought the Glosemeyer farm east of Washington and had been living there for 19 years. He was a gentleman well liked by all his neighbors and associates, who extend their sympathy to the bereaved family. fDeceased leaves His wife, four sons and three daughters, as follows: Ernst Thee of Des Moines, N. M., Wesley Thee of Eureka, Mo., Mrs. Lydia Koch of near Washington, Miss ’ Carrio Thee and Mrs. Theodosia ( IJaseman who lives at th« Thee home, j Rudolph The of Cleveland, Ohio, and ' Gustav Thee of Fulton, Mo. He also leaves one brother, Henry Thee, of Glasgow, Mo., and one sister, Mrs. Hy. Schlomann, of Higginsville, Mo.The funeral will take place Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the residence ancf 2:30 at the Methodist church. Interment will be made in the St. Peter’s cemetery.
