Art Gasper, Lawrence, Kan., former resident of Wellington, has recently been named on the MPS (Medical Products Salesman) Advisory Board. Salesman Gasper had an extensive medical background before deciding to stay in the medical supply field. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific during World War II and trained in the Hospital Corps School, Tropical Medicine and Laboratory School, finally serving as a Pharmacists’ Mate. After the war he came to St. Lukes Hospital in Wellington as laboratory technician and x ray technician, and received both AMT and ARRT registries. He later attended the University of Kansas, Lawrence, majoring in chemistry while working at Lawrence Memorial Hospital as chief x-ray technician. In 1955 he began working for Munns Medical Supply Com pany in Topeka where he has become the top salesman in cardiac monitoring equip ment and sales promotion. This year he will join the Million Dollar Club for his record sales in 1974. Also very active in politics, he has worked as a eommitteeman for many years in Republican campaigns. He and his wife, who is an RN, have two children and reside in Lawrence. Art is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur H. Gasper, 902 W. Lincoln, in Wellington.
