Funeral services were scheduled at 4 p.m. today in Commerce for Alvin Arthur Liston, 50. of La donia, friends here were informed. The brother of two Lubbock residents. Liston was one of three men found asphyxiated in a vault at Garland Monday, according to wire reports. Liston was a brother of Mack M. Liston. 4722 38th St., and Mrs. Marvin Walker. 2703 Duke St. Found in the vault with Liston were the bodies of Frances Hawk ins. 25. Omaha, Tex., and W. I. Turntine. 50. Commerce. Employed As Carpenter Turntine was foreman for the Hurt Construction Co., which was remodeling the building. Listen above ground might be limited, depending on how much radioac tivity he had already suffered and where the wartime emer gency limits were set.” Lapp said the population might have to wait years for radioac tivity to return to the levels al lowed for atomic workers in peacetime, but that he assumed wartime limits would be much higher. Taken To Dallas Hurt said he did not know why they were in the vault over the weekend. The bodies were taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas where autopsies were be performed. Results were oe revealed today. Liston is survived by his wife of the home in Ladonia: three daughters, Mrs. Dick Kernodle and Mrs. Charles Blalock, both of Dallas, and Miss Ann Liston, of the home; two sons, Jimmy and Jerry, both of the home; five sisters, Mrs. George Matheani, Shamrock, Mrs. Clyde Hamlin, Commerce, Mrs. Walker, Lub bock, Mrs. Bill Sheffield, Ladon ia, and Gladys, whose married name was not available, of Du rant, Miss.:; three brothers, Mack, Lubbock, FE. H., Dallas, and A. A., Bryan. The Mack Liston and Marvin Walker families left early today for Commerce for services.
