(Intended for last week) Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hopley and Ann left last week for New Glasgow, N.S., to live at their former home. Mr. Jack Sinclair was in Niag ara with relatives. Miss Ruby Bailey, Oshawa, with Mrs. T. Bailey, Mrs. W. Avis and Jim, Mrs. Mable Goody and children with Mr. and Mrs. Carter. Mr. Bill Hoskins visited rela tives in Toronto and Niagara. Jean Crandall broke two ribs while sleigh-riding on the hills and is home from the hospital. Mrs. Merle Hubbard under went a second major operation in Oshawa Hospital and has since returned to her home. Miss Dor een Holroyd is staying with her for six months during her con valescene. Choir practice was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Larmer, Monday. Plans were made for social evening, March 17 in the church. National films were shown and social time enjoyed in the school.
