Sally B. 1717; D. 1783. His wife, Priscilla Fooks, D. 179G. They were i buried 21'j miles S. East.Under this was the comment: “Strange marker, 10 miles from Del-mar, Delaware. No one knows why or when it was placed there.”The editor of “The Worcester Democrat” has made inquiry of Mr. Eben Hearne, of Pocomoke, whose name is similar to that on the marker, and who is the oldest native-born.Continued on pa*re 10»
