RESCUED THROUGH WINDOWS.Guest at Hotel Narrowly Escape Being Burned to leath.1Hattisburg, Mass.. March 18.—Ten ' or more guests In the hotel of J. J. Arrington at Misoh, Covington coun- J ty, Mississippi, had a narrow escapa ! from death early today when tbe j building caught lire. The guests were asleep and before being awakened the fire gained such headway that it was impossible to get out by way of the stairs. Rescue was finally accomplished through windows Portions of the roof had fallen before some of those In the building were awakened. The postofflce and a store in the same building also were destroyed. The loss amounted to about $30,000. »
