Tlie Ciiatianoosa Wrecked.Chattanooga, Tenn., March 17.—News has just reached tlm city that the steamer Chattanooga, one of the finest steamboats that plies the river between this city and Mussel Shoals, was run aground by a pilot and totally wrecked. He allowed the rudder to get the mHStery or him, and the boat ploughed into the bank with a full head of steam on. A large hole was torn in her side, her timbers loosened and many broken. Her cargo was removed to the bank to prevent her from sinking, but it is thought £he is a total wreck.
