Notice is hereby given that in pursuance and by virtue of an Order of the Probate Court of the county of Clarke, Washington Territory, made on the third day of March, a. p. 1879, in the matter of the estate of John T. Lovelace, deceased, the undersigned exec utor of the last will and testament of the said John T. Lovelace, deceased, will, on Saturday the 29th day of March, A. Dp. 1879, at the hour of one o'clock Pp. M. of the said day, at the Post office door on Main street in the City of Vancouver, in the County of Clarke, Washington Territory, fell at pub lic auction to the highest bidder for cash, and subject to confirmation by the said Probate Court, all of the estate, right, and interest of the said John T. Lovelace, deceased, at the time of his death, in and to all and singular those certain tracts or parcels of land situate, lying and being in the County of Clarke afore said, and designated and described as follows, to wit. 1st—The north half of the west half of the joint Donation Land Claim of Hutson Martin and Martha Martin, deceased, the said Dona tion Land Claim being Claim Number Forty and parts of sections five, six, and seven in Township one north of Range three east of the Willamette Meridian, and containing in all three hundred and twenty acres, more or less; and the said north half of the west half of said Claim, being in the said section six, and containing eighty acres, more or less. 2nd—One undivided third part of the tract of land known as the Donation Land Claim of William P. Smith the same being Claim Num ber Forty-three, and parts of sections nine, ten, fifteen and sixteen in Township one north of Range three east, the whole of the said tract containing three hundred and twenty acres, more or less. 3d—The lots numbered two and three of section nineteen in Township two north of Range three east, containing sixty-two acres, more or less. 4th—The southwest quarter of the south west quarter of section thirty, and the north half of the northwest quarter and the Lots numbered six and seven of section thirty-one in Township two north of Range three east, containing one hundred and fifty acres and thirty-four hundredths of an acre. 5th—Beginning at a point 17.30 chains north and 3.55 chains west of the southwest corner of section nineteen in Township two north of Range three east, and running thence east two chains and fifty links, thence north twen ty chains, thence west twenty chains and thence south to the place of beginning, con taining five acres. The said five tracts of land will be sold in separate parcels as above described. Terms and Conditions of Sale. Cash: ten per cent. of the purchase money to be paid on the day of sale, the balance on the confirmation of the sale by the said Probate Court. Deeds at the expense of the purchas ers.
