B Forrest, and of taking by the hand, for tbo first time, our illustrious cavalry chieftain, whose name and fame arc now the property of the South, and whoso presence never foiled, in oUr long and bitter war withthe North, to strike terror to the hearts of the■« '-enemy. Gen. Forrest, like moat of us, had his fartunc* wrecked by the war, and is now energetically employed in building them up anew* In which labor he has our best A-ishes for his success. He represents tko PJantem1 Insurance' Company of Tcnness^ and the Southern Life Insurance Company, * being President outlie former and a DirectorYn the latter.
