[e Wm. M. Prescott was called to the te chair, anti Cyrus Thompson appointed II Secretary. Whereupon the objects of v J the meeting being briefly stated, the lt;Caairman appointed a committee of fieo gentlHmen, coRiposed of Col. Win. n B. Lewis, John A. Glaze. James Akin-^ head, John P. Murdock and Dr. Laney, to draft resolutions expressive of the t0 feelings of the meeting for the “St.: Landry High School/’ under tliOkSuper-_ inlendence of the Rev. C. C.
