The Executive Committee for the relief of the sufferers of Ireland and Scotland have received the following money subscriptions from the citizens of Greenfield, Mancock County, to wits Thomas D. Walpole, $9 James R. Beaton, $5 J. Rutherford, 5 A. T. Hart, 3 John P. Banks, 1 Monis Pierson, 2 We learn also that the citizens of Pleasant View, Shelby county, have tendered their services to the Executive Com mittee of this place to collect provisions to be forwarded under their charge to the relief of those who are destitute and starving, and we hope that the other towns and counties will shortly imitate the above worthy examples.
