Mrs. Chloe Smith, Mrs. Chlce Smith of Hutchinson, Kansas, was born in Indiana and died at the homo of Levi Miller or. Thursday. November 11th, 1920 at the acre of 70 years. Mrs. Smith was■ yonlv ill several days with pneumonia, v.'huTi resulted in her death. The deceased came for a visit with her stir for,’ Mrs. A. M. Johnston, who makes her home with her daughter. Mrs.Levi Miller. Although not well, Mrs.Smith felt that she must see her j sister, Mr*. Geo. Hart of Iladdam, who is quite low. Mrs Smith leaves four daughters: Mrs. Dr. Etta Mun-dell of Hutehinsqn; Mrs. A. R. Mann of Hutchinson; Mrs. Howard Short of Arkansas, and Mrs. AustinChicken. The daughters were all preseiit .at the time of Mrs. Smith’s death except Mrs. Austin Chicken, also two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. A. M. Johnston of Belleville; Mrs. George Dart of Haddam, Kans.; William Ballard of Aspin, Colo.; and Chapman Ballard of Mexico. .The body was taken to Hutchinson, Kansas, for burial. Funeral services were held at her home on Monday,March 15, 1920.
