I’lana for a full basement cut «P into rooms for offices, barber shops and baths, have already been prepared and bids nrr being received for tne excavation and building the foundation walls. The first oor will have a store room on the corner, 31x7S feet and remaining frontage of 30 feet will he taken up »ith the hotel corridor and office.The second floor will have the hotel parlor and guest rooms. In the rear of the store room and the office will be the hotel dining room extending entire width of the building.The store room will have 16 fool ceiling and a balcony will surround considerable of the sides. The cost the structure will be between $5,000 and $18,000. While it is not absolutely settled it is most probable that the building will Ih of the reinforced concrete type. The contract for the excavation and building of the basement walls for which there has been one bid already filed, is to be let on the basis of the work being completed within forty days.The re-enforccd concrete building is lcing used extensively in the cities, a notable example being the ardware building erected in Spo-ne by the Holly Mason-Marks Hardware Co. It makes very sub-Waotial building, walls are free im cracks and the cost of construction is leas.Mr. Brown arrived in town the first of the week as he announced would when he was last in the city. He brought with him Mr. F.A. Warner, an experienced collator and builder in cement, either the blocks or the re-enforced style. Mr. Brown announced that he had come down to build.
