IL*j The Directors of the Y. M. C; A. met • in the Board of Trade rooms last even- j jing. IS o business was transacted, ex-j jcept to appoint a uoiou meeting icrj Sunday, March 27th, for the purpose j of making further arrangements in regard to the work of the Y. M. C. A- In this city- There seems to be a feeling, among some of the ministers of the city, against giving up their Sunday j services for the union meeting, but asthe Y. M. C. A. work is next to the*church, and as it is only for cue service we see no reason why the. ministers should hesitate to give up the morning service. The Young Men’s Christian Association will be a great help to the church and to the city, and the ministers and ail others who are 1 j interested iu the cause of religion - j should do all in their power to encourage the young men in their efforts to have such an organization iu this city.
