INDIAN LAKE — Two Indian Lake men will reappear March 25 in Town Court on charges stemming from a Tuesday morning altercation at Marty’s Tavern Walter George Hart, 32, and John R. Brown, 21, filed third-degree assault charges against each other as a result of the incident. State Police said that following the incident, Brown allegedly chopped a hole in Hart’s windshield with an ax and then threw the ax through a window of the tavern, which led to two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief. Brown pleaded guilty to the mischief charges Wednesday night before Indian Lake Town Justice Edward Stores. G. GORDON DAVIS
