Services Will Be Conducted at Sacred Heart Church on Sunday Afternoon. While arrangements for the obse quies of the late Laurent DeGive, At lanta pioneer and owner of the Grand theater, have not been completed, an nouncement was made Friday morn ing that the funeral service would be conducted by Father Gunn at the Church of the Sacred Heart at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon and that the Inter ment would be in Westview cemetery. E. M. Horine, son-in-law of Mr. De- Give, had not been notified at noon Friday of the time the funeral party will reach here from Cocoa, Fla., where Mr. DeGive died Thursday morning, and where all the immediate relatives are at present, but gave It as his opin ion that the body would arrive Satur day morning over the Central of Geor a road. All Thursday and Friday telegrams of condolence from notables of the theatrical world have been pouring into Atlanta. And besides the messages sent to Atlanta many others were wired direct to the distressed relatives in Florida. Among those which reached the At lanta offices of the Grand was one from Kies Erlanger, the magnates who control the bookings of most of the important theaters of the United States. There came words of sympa thy, too, from Lee Shubert, and from James Decker, of the Shubert offices; from Jake Wells, with whom Mr. De Give was long and intimately asso ciated, and from Congressman L. F. Livingston. Friday morning a mes sage came from H. H. Dean, the noted Gainesville attorney, who was a life long friend of the deceased, giving elo quent expression to the sorrow ,occa sioned him by the death of his old companion. 7 The funeral Sunday afternoon will be under the direction of H.
