The First Caucus.The meeting of the Prohibitionists held last evening in Good Templars hall was very interesting. A spirit of unity prevailed throughout, and after electing officers for the ensuing year the caucus was held, nominating as candidates forTownship Trustee..........Aaron Work.Justice of Peace.............John Guipe.“ “ “ ......Will Livengood.“ “ ..........Louis Osborne.Constables... ............A. Hilbshman.M ...............John Middleton.“ K. Henry.Assessor ........ H. J. Douglas:As officers for the ensuing term were elected, First Chairman W. C. Johnson, Second Chairman R. Henry, Treasurer John Guipe, Secretary Henry Case.Speeches proclaiming faith in the Probi-bibition party were delivered and the meeting then adjourned to meet next Monday, the 24th, at Good Templars’ hall, corner Main and Jackson streets.
