Penn, October, 1G82, by David Norris, and presented by the great-granddaughter of the latter,* Mrs. Lvnn Hough; the Pennsylvania Gazette, printed by Benjamin Franklin, for the years 1750*to 1753, complete, by Win. M. Gilbert; an original commission of Wm. Penn to James Harrison as Steward, by Thomas Williams; a work printed at the date of the discovery of America, and the original Journal of Congress of 1776, as issued at the time, by Frank M. Fitting; an accurate model of the Constitution frigate, made by F. C. Labbe, of the original timber, together with two beautiful models of Miss Emilie Labbe; a superb copy of the Columbiad, the first choice American imprint, with other works, c., by Miss Amelia Priestman; an almanac of 1776, presented by Mrs. W. II. Dutton; an original valuable portrait of Matthew' Tilgnman, of the Congress of 1774, deposited by Gen. Tench Tilghman, of Maryland; the gavel used by Major-General Arteinus Ward, Vice-President of the Executive Council of Massachusetts, 1777, deposited by Henry G. Ward; a bust of William Penn, carved out of wood of the Treatv.tree, presented by Miss Man’ Cadwallader; and a deposit by his Excellency Governor Parker of manuscripts relating to the provincial history of the identical celebrated arch used at Trenton upon the reception of Washington, by Miss Armstrong; of the furniture of the headquarters of General Washington and Morristown, by ex-Govemor liandolph, and of revolutionary relics, by Dr. Coleman. __Twinli tl A/va
