Lochranb—won by his eloquence and the sentiments ot his' address the most enlhusiatic applause ot the large and respectable audience that listened to him. and all were •' merry as tin* marriage bell that participated in the ftstiviiies ot the occasion. We never saw assembled in Atlanta a wore appreciative audience. The Governor ol the ^taU' v»l on the right of the .speaker during the delivery ol the address, and every ieat «| the Hall was filled with gentlemen ■»[ high and otlicial poji-tioo, save where the dlgui tied matrons and beau-lilul maidens ol our city occupied them. Onanother occasion we shall reler to this celebration of the Anniversary oi the Hibernian Society, ol our city—a growing and tV'urishiug institu-tioo—one in whom we leel a deep interest.
