The Utah-Idaho Speech meet will held March 27 and 28 at Carbon ollege, in Price. Snow will enter students in debati ng, extemporaneous speaking and ora ory. The final intra-school try outs re under the direction of Miss Young ad Miss Nelson. Perry Christensen, Clair Black, Kyllis Johnson and Frank Peacock are ntering as orators, each having the pivilege to select his subject. The rep esentatives for the extemporaneous peaking are Royal Bagley, Conrad eller, Ward Olsen and Carol Smith. A subject for this division is restrict dd to the South America problems a nd the relationship to the world cris is In debate, Snow will have four teams omposed of Verna Anderson, Mildred Oper, Cornell Blackham, Perry Kristensen, Jim Killpack, Mary Aus in, Rhoda Reese and Melva Beck. The roblem for debate is Resolved: “That ere should be Federal Control on other Unions.” The contest will consist of all the union Colleges of the region. The reshman and sophomores of the Brig am Young University, University of Utah and the Utah State Agricultural allege.
