Miss Silvette was the ex- c change editor for The Monocle for the fi year 1930. nBetty Carper, a well known dancer P in Richmond, was portrayed in four ^ sketches from her dances “Jamestown” and “Propaganda”.One picture that stood out from its fellows was that of a little boy with a crop of blonde curls on his head, much like some of the children we see in the movies.
