Former Well Liked Young Madisonian, Died In Indianapolis today. Word was received early this morning by Mrs. John Petit of the death of her brother, Osenius Phillips, which occurred at his home in In dianapolis at 7:30 o’clock this morn ing following a brief illness with in fluenza. The decedent was in his 41st year and was a native of this county. He lived in this city for a number of years and was employed in the Eagle Cotton mill. He is survived by a widow, formerly Miss Flora Selig, of this city, and three children. He also leaves four sisters and one brother and his mother, Mrs. Oliver, living near Canaan. Mr. Phillips was an energetic citi zen with hosts of friends to mourn his death. The time and place of the funeral has not been decided.
