Death at Roswell.Mrs. Adallne Lnphaui, mother of Mrs. R. P. Gillespie of Koawell, died March 12, aged nearly 81 years. Ada-line Chandler was born in Cayuga county, New York. She was married In early womanhood to Chester A. Niles. Two children of this marriage survive her. While their children were still young, Mr. Niles died. In 1848, she married Mr. Arnon Latham, who died in 1877. Five children of this marriage survlvo her. For many years she had been allllcted with loss of hearing, but she bore It patiently ai.d lived an active, useful and good life; always trusting In tlio goodness of her Heavenly Father. She had long been re lid y for the summons home. She was belovad l*y all who knew her and a large circle of children; grand children, great-grand- children, brothers, sisters and friends are left to mourn her loss. Funeral services were held at the residence of Mr. It. 1*. Gillespie where she had made her home for the last 20 years. A large number of friends and neighbors were present. W.
