In St. Mary's Church, Caulfield, was solemnised the marriage of Mr. Edward Charsley, son of the late H. C. Charsley. of the well-known Arm of Messrs Kliugender, Charslev and Dickson, solicitors, with Mite Stephen, oldest daughter of the late El male Stephen, Esq., H.M. Customs The church was crowded to axceaa, for the bride and her family have, by their many acts of kindness to the parishioners, endeared themselves to the hearts of the people, who, therefore, could not allow the event to pass away without gathering in strong numbers at the church to stiow their resiwot and attachment for the family. Punctual to lime the bride arrived with her brother, Mr. A. Stephen, wearing a charming simple gown of white embroidered uiusliu. brightened by a cross drapery and sash of white satiu , a small white straw bonnet, prettily trimmed with white ribbon mid so/i feathers, completed a very quiet lady like bridal toilette. MiBH May Htophen, the bride's sister, who was the only bridesmaid on t his auspicious occasion, likewise wore a soft muslin dress, relieved by a sash of Sevres blue. The ceremony was performed by the ltev H. B. Macrartuey. Mr. Harvey acted as best man to the bridegroom. In the church were Mr. and Mrs. Eukey ibride’s sister), Mrs and Miss Chantey, Mr. and Mrs. .1, C. Hamilton. Mr. and Mrs. It. Stephen, Miss Bunny, Mr. and Mrs. W.
