'LONG—Mr. J. N. Long died at Marselle, Franklin county, Mo., February 8, 1875. The subject of this notice was a prominent and lead-Eag granger in the neighborhood where he lived. Fie had many friends, and was highly esteemed 4 hj ail who knew him.He was born November 14, 1824, and was years old at his death. I was sent for to visit Mm in his sickness. Previous to my visit he had found the .Savior precious to his soul. I administered the ordinance of baptism to him and ins wife and received them into the Church. His ; end was peaceful and full of hope and trust in the Lord. He has passed from the walks of men, but his soul lives in -another hemisphere all iligfited by lhe presence of his God.. C. E.
