The annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and celebration will take place this weekend at Emmetsburg. Ed Podolak, professional football star of the Kansas City Chiefs and a former Uni versity of Iowa football star, will be in Emmetsburg for the celebration. He is expect ed to present an hour and a half film program on the 1971 Kansas City Chief highlghts. The program is scheduled to begin at 9:30 March 17, in Corrigan Hall. Country music from Nash ville will also highlight the final day of the 12th annual celebration. The Porter Wag oner show will be heard twice, at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. The Miss Shamrock Pageant will be held from 7:30 to 9:33 pm. at Corrigan Hall the opening day of the pageant. The parade will start about 1:30 p.m. Saturday with an estimated 100 entries. Among guests at the festivi ties will be Des Foley of Dub lin, Ireland, a member of the Trish Dail, and his wife; and a hostess from the Trissh Inter national Airlines.
