By Pat Harman Sara Keisler A wedding shower was given for Mr. and Mrs. Boone Hoke, Saturday night, March 11. The couple received many lovely gifts, Cake and punch were served. The shower was held at the Longstreet Community Center. Hostesses for the oc casion were Mrs. Butch Fos ter, Mrs. Helen Sims Mrs. Shirley G. Keisler, Mrs. Ka therine Keisler, Mrs. Sara Keisler and Miss Cindy Keisler. Visiting in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Foster last week were Randolph Smith and Viola Davis from Madisonville, and Mrs. Marvin Foster from Dallas, Mrs. Mary Lou Byrne from Houston is visiting Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Kroll, Jr. and family this week. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Tom kivits from Stoneham and Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Kroll from Houston visited Mr. and Mrs. Joe Klawinsky Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Graves and family from Houston vis ited Mr. and Mrs. Leon Bran non last week, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Gutko ski from College Station, and Mr. and Mrs. Ellwood Thomas from Houston visited Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Thomas last week end, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Green and son from Lake Jackson visited Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Wood Saturday. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Wood drove to Cleve land to visit Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Wells, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Keisler left Friday afternoon for a weekend camping and fishing trip to Lake Somerville. Meet ing them at Lake Somerville were Mr. and Mrs. Benny Mi kulin and family, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Migle and family and Mr. and Mrs. Emil Mikulin and daughter Kathy, Cliff Conrey from Beaumont visited Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Baranowski and family Sunday. Jimmy Baranowski went to Dathan, Ala. last weekend to attend the wedding of a friend he was in the army with, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Busa visited in the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. M. Loukanis Sun day. Visiting in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe L. Klawinsky Sun day were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Slott and family and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Klawinsky and family from New Waverly and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ripkowski and family from Conroe and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Defork and family from Houston, Mrs. Ethel Quinn from Hous ton is visiting in the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Alford and family, Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Al ford, Jr. visited Mr. and Mrs. Alford this weekend.
