Great Damage at Lock No. io.The damage to the new lock and dam at Ford is immense and still increasing. The river has washed out a current around the southern end of the dam and no water at all is now passing over it. The bottom affected is a sandy loam, and is being rapidly eaten away, One of the government buildings have tumbled into the raging floods and others will follow. The loss will reach $200,000.
