Duff Doings.Spurlock Small have their storeroom completed and are now filling it up with a stock of choice goods.Mrs. Chas. Shurig, of OaklandCity, visited her parents, Mr and Mrs. Jacob Rauscher, here over Sunday.Preparation for the entertainment at the Chiistian church are progressing nicely and a grand time is expectedM. A. Sweeney spoke here Satur-■day in the interest of his candidacy for State Senator. A large and enthusiastic audience greeted him. Huntingburgh was well represented in the persons of E. W. Pickhardt, Editor of the News, Aug. II. Koer-|ner, Mayor M. Fisher and others whose names we cannot now recall.Candidates from all over the country were also present Tolin Miller has removed his black-smith-shop from Duff to where he thinks are fields of greener pastures. VVe know there are places greener than Duff. Jones.
