J. W. TRIBIiEis station agent, and besides serves the people as postmaster and keeps a good general store. He came to Mounts in 1886. He was born near Haubatadt, this county, August 17,1860, and grew up on a farm, receiving his education in the common country school. In 1881, and again in 1882, he taught a district school with success. In 1883*4, he attended a commercial school at Obcrlin, Ohio, graduating in penmanship and telegraphy in the summer of 1884. His parents were both born in this county, his father, George Trible, near St. James, and his mother, Elizabeth Mounts, near Owensvilie.
