MaynardPAWTUCKET - Marion G.Maynard, 100, of Lafayette St., a teacher at the Baldwin St.School in Pawtucket for 20 years retiring in 1968, died Friday in the Village House, Newport. She was the wife of the late EdgarMaynard Maynard.Born inCentral Falls,, a daughter of the late Thomas E. and Mary (Smith) Gleason, she was a Pawtucket resident for 71 years.Mrs. Maynard was a graduate of RI College, class of 1926 and a member of their Alumni Association. She was a member of the St. Raymond’s and St. Margaret’s Leisure Groups. And the Blackstone Valley Retired Teachers Association.She leaves three daughters: Marianne Needham of East Greenwich, Jean McMillan of Middletown and Elizabeth Maynard of Pawtucket and Newport, a son: ThomasMaynard of Saunderstown, Three grandchildren: Paul and John Gardiner and Melissa Botelho and two great-grandchildren.The funeral was today held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Monahan Drabble Sherman Funeral Home 230 Waterman St., Providence with a mass of Christian Burial in St Raymond’s Church, North Main St. at 10 a.m. Calling hours were yesterday from 4-6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the RI College Alumni Association, 600 Mt Pleasant Ave., Providence, RI
