Convention Elects Delegates to State Meeting in April Morris Bergsrud, Lake Boule vard, was elected Winona County chairman of the Democratic-Farm er Labor party Saturday afternoon at the Winona County Courthouse. Bergsrud has served as chairman for about three months following te resignation of Dr. A. H. Maze T. Miss Harriet Buck, Lake Boule vard, was named county chair woman. Other officers named Sat urday are: Victor Papenfuss, Wil son, first vice chairman; Daniel Bambenek, 260 Mankato Ave., sec ond vice chairman; Mrs. Papen fuss, first vice chairwoman; Mrs. Everett Kohner, 365 W. King St, second vice chairwoman; John D. McGill, 113 W, Sarnia St. secre tary; and Donald Gustomski, 162 W. 4th St. treasurer. The names of 12 persons were ap proved as delegates and alternates to the state convention at Albert Lea April 2, 3, and 4. Delegates are: Papenfuss, Bergsrud, Dr. Maze, Dr. Margaret Boddy, John W. Dugan and James Tushner. Some will attend the district con vention at Rochester Sunday. Alternates are: Bambenek, Mrs. Bergsrud, Mrs. Papenfuss, George Eckles, Ludwig Peterson and Leon T. Bronk. About 25 persons attended the conclave, among them all 16 coun ty delegates. McGill served as temporary chairman for the meet ing. The county organization endorsed Sen. Hubert H. Humphrey who will be seeking re-election this fall and false endorsed Ray Hemanway, Ab bert Lea, 1st District chairman, an d a candidate for state chairman, James Tushner told the group that the auditorium at St. Mary's College, seating 1,500 persons could be made available to Sen. Hum phrey if he wished to speak in Winona,
