J Funeral , services were held on Friday* March 10, with a short service at the home at 12:30/followed by .services in J the Finnish Lutheran church at [ Leo at 1 pjn. The Rev. A. Kok-konen of Calumet officiated. Burial was in the Covington cemetery. Pallbearers were four, sons, Arvid Jr., Frank, Eino and David; Verner Godell and Arthur ISalli. IMrs. Salli was born in Simo, • Finland, April 9, 1884, and camtej to America when a young girl.; ?She was married to Arvid. Salli' fn» Ishpeming, July 3, 1904. The couple located in Watton which' has since been, the family home.1Surviving are her husband Arvid Salli, Sr.v four sons, Eino,1 Frank, Arvid and David and two daughters, Mrs. Verner . Godell. and Mrs. Alma Nurkkala of Watton; -three sisters, Mrs. Esther Kangas of Chassell and , Hilma and Erikka and a brother H jalmer: Waatari of Simo, Finland.The Beals Funeral Hon\e of Michigamme was in charge of the, funeral.
