After anxiously awaiting word from the geeno de the disuston is Cal ifornia earthquake, local relatives of Harvey G, Conover finally received a telegram that he and his family were not injured during the tremors. Mrs Conover, shortly after his marriage to Miss Lida Ross of Little Silver, moved to the West Coast where they with their two children, Rachel and Townsend, live in Manhattan Beach, a suburb of Long Beach, where the most serious damage and the great est loss of life occurred. Mr. Conover is a brother of Mrs. Harry Worthiecy, Mrs. Thomas 5.Field and William B. Conover of Red Bank and George Conover of Keyport. Miss Katharine Louise Taylor, fore moetly of Middletown village, telee graphed her sister, Miss Rae Taylor of that place, from her Pacifice coast residence in Coronado Beach tha she was sife. In both instances be cause of the congested wires, the ssages did not reach their destinat ions for many hours after they were filed.
