Yor Meer, aged 2K, who the past three years has been farming on the Van Zee farm, f» miles northwest of Pella, died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Firk Ver Meer, 1818 Main St. at 8:45 o’ciott. Monday morning.Mr. Ver Meer had rented the Jacob Van Zante farm between Otley and Monroe, and expected to move onio the place the first of March. About twelve weeks ago his health began to fail, and as the time for moving approached he came to the home of his parents in the hope of gening morea rest. However, as the days passed on, his condition continued to grow worse* until early^londay morning his spirit went to the (Jod who gave it. He hadenjoyed excellent health until last fallwhen his illness began, and it is hard to realize that one in the full vigor of youth would so soon fall prey to disease.John I). Ver Meer, son of Mr. anti Mrs. Xirk Ver Meer was bom on the old home farm near Pella Feb. 22 1900. On February 19, 1925 he was united^ in marriage to Miss Marie Van Zee. To this union two sons were horn the eldest two years of age and theyoungest a child of eleven months, who together with the heartbroken I wife are left to mourn his untimely death. Resides his immediate family he leaves his parents, several brothers anti many other relatives and a host of friends.^ Funeral sendees will he held at the Third Reformed church this afternoon at 1 ;80 in charge of Rev. 0, Meaning the pastor. Interment will be made in Oakwood cemetery.-Iho
