Engineers Make Another Big Hit in Final Event on Week’s Program Hats off to the Iowa university “Engineers”! They've done it again. With their annual Mecca parade of 1924 a part of his'ry, Mecca week is nearly ended. Following the parade this after noon, the applied science colleg ians entertained, instructed and lmpensed gifts among visitors at the engineering shops, ‘the new hall of chemistry, and the broad casting static’. The parade, itself, was fully up to the high standard the Engin ers set long ago. They are truly comedians, inventors, and manu facturers of rare ability. The com edy, the “stunts,” and the fruits of inventive gen’us, both of the ‘humorous and practical type, won laughter and applause, on and down the long line of march, this afternoon, and the thousands of people who lined the streets in the heart of the city, are now drinking 18th amendment toasts to the U. S. artists.
