Brown, late presiding1 elder of Norfolk district, way die at any moment, though his powerful constitution and iron will may delay tho end for some time. His children have all been summoned to his bedside, as has been Tho-oICSo-twicer before, but this time there has been a, tragic occurrence.DAUGHTER CRITICALLY ILL.Ills daughter, Mrs. David G. While-head, of this city, who was formerlyMiss Annie Bello Brown, went up to Ashland yesterday to be with her father. Last night while In his room she suddenly fell to the lloor unconscious, and has remained in. a semi-stupor ever since.Dr. W. S. Gordon and a trained nurse were summoned from Richmond early this morning. White the exact nature of Mrs. Whitehead's attack has not been vnadc public, yet It la thought to be In ilie nature of a breakdown of tho nervous system, and Lite physician has grave doubts of being able to save her life.Dr. Brown was yesterday attacked with violent .convulsions, which, have since continued, though not so violently us at first.
