A lecord marked on the old Government stores, and verified by Mr. NY. Pettigrew and other old residents, gives tiie levels of the floods of 18V7. 1H«*4. anil 1887. the latter two being the same. The present flood at 11 o'clock oil Wednesday morning was Hit. bin. above the floods of lth4 ami 1878, and Min. below that of 1857.
