In course of Signature, Mr.Ar thur Foster informed the meeting that he wfs instructed by James Matthew son Esq of. Pittsburg, to enrol his name—and to present the Society with his donation of Ten dollars to mark his approbation of the laudable undertaking, which was most thankfully acknowledged.—Mr. Foster also enrolled the name of Thomas Burroughs, Esquire, civil Engineer, as a member. It was thru unanimously Resolved. That the association book be kept open for the free en rolment ot Members until the close of the first Monthly Meeting to te held on Monday evening the 4th April next.
