Noland Rites Tomorrow In Belton, Mo.James S. Noland, 88, Valley Falls, father of G. Lee Noland, Atchison city engineer, died yesterday at the Atchison County Home for the Aged. He had been a resident of Valley Falls eight years.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the E.K. George chapel at Belton, Mo., and burial will be in the Belton cemetery. The Hagge funeral home at Valley Falls was in charge of local arrangements.Mr. Noland was born Aug. 18, 1877, at Elk City, and moved to Cleveland, Mo., when he was 16 years old. He farmed in the Belton, Mo., community until he retired eight years ago.Mr. Noland was a member ofthe First Baptist church at Belton.Besides his son, Mr. Noland is survived by his wife, Edith, of the home in Valley Falls; a daughter, Mrs. H.D. Wyatt, Valley Falls; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
