At the eighth annual Presen tation Ball 37 young Southern California women will be pre sented to His Eminence, James Francis Cardinal McIntyre, Archbishop of Los Angeles. This beautiful Presentation Ball spon sored by the Social Service Aux iliary of Los Angeles will be held on Easter Monday, April 19, in the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The presentation ceremony will begin with the entrance of Cardinal McIntyre accompanied by the Papal Knights in full dress wearing the insignia of their orders. The Papal Knights will form an honor guard for His Eminence. The Papal Knights invited to participate are: Sir Daniel J. Donohue; Messrs. Fritz B. Burns, Henry L. Clark, Jerome K. Doolan, Charles L. Pozzo, ball chairman, and Mrs. William Rowland Moore, presentee chairman. The pro ceeds from this Presentation Ball will benefit the Cardinal's Charity Fund and the work of ‘the Sisters of Social Service. Among the merry round of ‘parties honoring the Presentees was the formal dinner dance last night, given by Mrs. Fred Weber of Gaviota honoring her daughter Marybeth Weber and her niece Katrina Weber. The beautiful party was in the Grand Trainon Ballroom of the ‘Beverly Wilshire Hotel. On St. Patrick’s Day, Wednes day, March 17, Mrs. Donald Shanahan will honor Miss Mary Antoinette Barsocchini at a tea at her home. A second tea sched uled in this busy season will be the tea jointly hosted by Mines, John Porteous, Karl Foreman Weber, Nicholas Noyes Weber and John Richard Novak hon oring Miss Katrina Weber and Miss Marybeth Weber.
