In Sheffield TownshipRadio Station Site Bought Near LorainiLORAIN — Sanford A. Schafitz, applicant for a Lorain radio station operator's license, plans to locate his transmission station in Sheffield Township, he disclosed■.......................1 f;oday.Schafitz, Who has been owner ofStation WFAR in Farrell, Pa., forthe past two years, said he haspurchased approximately two acresof land just north of the Sheffield-O’Neil Shopping Center and southof Lorain City limits as the site lor a transmitting tower and technical equipment. Nc attempt has been made to acquire a studio, but Schafitz may decide to build new modem quarters, he said.Call letters of the radio station, which would be the second to serve.
