Texas, to deliver a series of addresses and to setve as consultant in several public forums.Mrs. Jefferson has been invited to be guest speaker at the Moorland Branch YMCA, this afternoon, In it* annual forum series. This forum brings together all civic, fraternal and social agencies of the city of Dallas annually in a mass meeting for the purpose of arousing and renewing a civic con-•ciousness in the citizenry. A national personality is invited eachyear as guest speaker. The current year marks the first time that a native of Dallas has been the!speaker for this occasion.In addition to the YMCA appear-.*nce. the college professor will •peak before the Wednesday morning Study Club in its observance of the traditional Annual Woman's Day celebration. The Pan Hellenic Council of Dallas has invited Mrs. Jefferson to speak at its month’y meeting, and she will appear at both the Booker T. Washington and Lincoln High Schools at assemblyprograms.The Bluefield supervisor will return to her local duties only a short time before filling speaking en-MRS. OTHELLO JEFFERSONgagements in Washington. D. C.and Covington, Va. during the month of April.Mrs. Jefferson is supervisor of cadet teaching in the area of elementary education at Bluefield State College. She has been a member of the local college facultysince 1927.
