Four Generations of The Bass Family.Charles Tillman Bass Charles Theodore BassCuarles Wilson Bass Charles Hardy BassThe oldest one in this remarkable group of the Bass family, is Charles H. Bass who came to Sauk county in 1851. He first located near Fern Dell and afterwards resided in other parts of the state. He is 85 years old, was a soldier in the late war and is spending the winter in Milwaukee.Charles W. Bass is at the upper right hand corner in the picture. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stillman Bass, was born in New York in 1845, came with his people tothis county in 1851 and enlisted in the army when only nineteen. He married Miss Rose Burton in Fairfield in 1880. The family resides in the town of Dellona. *Charles S. Bass, is t the upper left hand corner in the picture, was born in the town of Dellona, this county, in 1873. He married Miss Jennie Rbinehart of Dellona, October 9, 1904.
