XcIh Olson Drowacd.Acquaintances from Courtnay of Neta Olson, the farmer who fell into a well U6i Wednesday and was drowned, stale | that he was an industrious young man, and that hie death is sincerely regretted.I He had beeu residing with E. Mc-\ Kinnon near the Stutsman county line and was on hie claim some seven miles from Courtnay repairing the well for use this spring—preparing to put down curbing. The accident whs not discovered until late in the evening about five hours after its occurrence. The weli contained 14 feel of water and was neither stoned nor boarded up on the inside and there were no means of escape from drowning when he fell in. It is supposed that he slipped while chopping ice at the mouth of the well.Olson owned half a section of land. 2o0 acree of which are ready for crop. He was about 32 years of age and unmarried. The funeral occurred Sunday.
