The Steamer Valid, having a fleet of coal boats in tow, broke1 some of her ran-chinery uear Caimelton, last week, and flouted at the metey of the current until she reached the mouth of Green river, at which place she was towed in by tbe Plain City. On her way down sho ran into the trees in the bend abovo this place ami sunk one of her boats, when two men aboard, supposing all wns lost leaped into tbe river and were drotyned.More than one hundred and ti.-cnty-five
