Mrs. Ruth Kinney Ashburn, 57, of 19 McLane Ave., died Saturday, March 12, 1977 at Monongalia General Hospital after dan extended illness. She was the wife of City Manager James A. Ashburn. Mrs. Ashburn was the daughter of the late Wilson F. Kinney and the late Kitty Ann Kinney of Preston County. She was employed as a secretary to Dr. A. M. Orteza and formerly worked as a bookkeeper for Feather Construction Co. She was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of Morgantown. In addition to her husband, sur vivors include two daughters, Mrs. Nancy Kramer of Knoxville, Tenn., and Mrs. Mary Jane Hitt of Wilmington, Del.; four sisters, Mrs. Margaret John, Mrs. Alma Buseman and Ms. Bernadine Kinney, all of Morgantown, and Ms. Alverda Kinney of Quincy, Mass.; one brother, Marvin W. Kinney of Morgantown; and two grandchildren. Friends will be received at Dering's Funeral Home from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday and 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday. A burial service will be conducted at Reedsville Cemetery, followed by a public memorial service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Christian and Mis sionary Alliance Church at Patteson Drive and Elmhurst Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Monongalia General HARRY M. PARKER Harry M. Parker, 81, of 3006 York Road, Pataskala, Ohio, died Friday at his home. He was born Dec. 14, 1895, in Rivesville, son of the late Frank and Carrie Prickett Parker. He was a former Morgantown resi dent. He was a member of the Pataskala United Methodist Church and a veteran of World War One. He has lived in Pataskala for the past 43 years. He was a retired farmer. He is survived by his wife, Rose Core Parker; three sons, Robert W. of Stockton, N.J., Richard C. of Beckley and H. Barton of Newark, Ohio; one brother, Curtis Parker of Maidsville; seven grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. (UPI) — Authorities have resumed an in vestigation into the shooting of a teenage Wheeling girl in the wake of the girl’s death. Hospital Foundation, c/o the Monongalia General Hospital. This memorial fund will go to provide care for cancer patients. EMMA TENNANT WILSON Emma Tennant Wilson, 88, of Daybrook, died Friday, March 11, 1977, in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Roxie C. Williams. Born April 30, 1886, she was a daughter of the late Jasper and Catheran Tennant. She was a lifelong resident of Monongalia County and was the last survivor of her immediate family. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Williams, one granddaughter, Mrs. David Gale Moore, both of al one great-granddaughter , three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie G. Wilson, three sisters, four brothers and one great grandson. MRS. RUTH ASHBURN
