CARL WEAKLAND WESTOVER — Carl (Ted) Weakland, 48, of Westover RD 1, died in his home yesterday morning. He was born at Kvona Sept. 7, 1920, son of Harvey and Mae (Carson) Weakland of Mills, Wyo. Surviving are His wife, the former Helen Zinza, his parents of Mills; four brothers, Sur veyor. Gerald, Otha and James; all of Mills; two sisters, Mrs. Jaykathra McDermott of Mills and Mrs William (Mar garet) McConnell of Chugwater, Wye. Mr Weakland was a veteran of World War I, a former con stable of Burnside Township and a member of John Scott American Legion Post 521 of Cherry Tree. He was employed by the Westover Tannery at Westover. Friends may fall in the Joel T. Pott Funeral Home at Burnside from 7 to 10 o’clock tonight, 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 Pm tomorrow and until the funeral services at 2 p. m Sat urday. The Rev. John E. Steb bins of Mahaffey will officiate. Interment will follow in Burn side Cemetery AIRS. BEELE WHITE GLASGOW — Mrs. Beryle White, Glasgow native and form er resident of Berwinsdale, died at 12715 a. m. Tuesday at Van Nuys, Calif. Born at Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late W. D. and Tabitha Young Bloom. JOAN L. ROACH CLYMER — John L. Roach, 63, of Clymer, formerly of Clearfield, died at Clymer Feb. 20. A son of the late John and Mary (Kephart) Roach, he is survived by a sister, Mrs. How ard Hooven of Clearfield, and a brother, James Roach. INFANT MAGGARD CURWENSVILLE — The in fant son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Maggard of Bowie, Md. died yesterday in Providence Hos pital at Washington, D. C., where he was born March 10. He is survived by his parents and two brothers, Jess and Gray. His mother is the for mer Lilnan Wright, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Wright of Curwensville. Interment will be made in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Curwens ville. JAMES BERNARDINO MORGAN RUN—Funeral serv ices will be conducted Saturday at 2 p. m. in the Sanborn United Methodist Church for James Bernardino, 87, of Morgan Run, who died Tuesday at 5:35 p. im. in the Philipsburg State General Hospital, Mr. Bernardino, a retired coal miner, was born in Italy and came to this country when he was 21 years old. No relatives survive jim. Friends will be received in the Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home at Houtzdale from, 7 o'clock this evening until 11 a. m., Satur day when the body will be tak en to the Sanborn Church The Rev. B. A. Flegal will officiate at the service. Interment will be in the Sanborn Cemetery. MRS. EDWARD GRUNDUSKY OSCEOLA MILLS—Mrs. Helen Grundusky, 53, of T09 Single St., died at 12:15 a. m. today in the Geisinger Medical Center at Danville. Born at Osceola Mills July 22, 1915, she was a daughter of An drew and Anna Hortuck} Com itz. She was a member of St Mary's Russian Orthodox Cath olic Church. Surviving, are her husband, Edward, a son, John, at home; her mother, Mrs. Anna Comitz of Osceola Mills; and these sis ters and a brother: Mrs. Mayme Hartzfeld, Matera; Mrs. Donald (Anna) Renwick, York; and Mrs. Russell (Margaret) Olenick and Andrew Comitz, both of Osceola Mills. Requiem services will be held Saturday at 2 p. m.in St. Mary's Church in charge of the Rev. Nicholas J. Solak Jr. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends will be received in the Treath Funeral Home at Osceola Mills tomorrow after 4 p. m. and Saturday until time of services. Parastas will be sung in the funeral home at 6 p. m. tomor row.
