Mrs. Josephine Sousae, of 107 Reed Ave, Belle Vernon, was honored on Saturday evening by a group of friends and relatives at the home of Mrs. Steve Lovas of 109 Reed Ave. The occasion was an early birthday celebra tion, since Mrs. Sousae is cele brating her 81st birthday anni versary today. There were 15 guests__ present. Cards were played at the begin ning of the evening and prizes were won by Edythe Ferencz, Betty Cone, a daughter of the honored guest, Katie Myers, and Theresa Diethorn. Preceding the luncheon was a mock wedding skit. Participating were Mrs. Myers, Ann Hook, an other daughter of Mrs. Sousac’s, Mrs. Cope, Myrtle Gaul, Donna Lange, Mrs. Ferencz, and Mrs. Lovas. . The hostess provided a home made birthday cake and flower favors. Others present were: Margaret Davis, Mae Lange, Lucille Rob ins, Hilda Burke, and Virginia and Rita Razzando, daughter and granddaughter, respectively, of the birthday guest.
