Former Resident Passes AwayWord was received of the death of Mrs. Cora “Townsend” ' Russell, 58 who passed away at Mancelona, Michigan Thursday,■ March 7.Funeral services were held Sunday, March 10 at Boyne Falls.Mrs. Russell was the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Townsend, former residents of Shepherd.Mrs. Russell is survived by husband, Robert, two son’s and two daughters. And a number of grandchildren.
